Leslie’s a passionate and dedicated practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Wholistic Healthcare. She is a graduate of The Wellspring School for Healing Arts. She is a Certified Amma Bodywork Therapist and Licensed Massage Practitioner. Amma Bodywork Therapy is an extremely specialized form of skilled bodywork that integrates deep tissue manipulation, pressure application, friction, and touch to specific acupoints, energy channels, muscles, ligaments, and joints. She is trained in the principles of Wholistic Nutrition, eastern dietary principles, and Chinese Herbs. John is a licensed and board-certified acupuncturist/herbalist and a graduate of the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine, where he learned a variety of acupuncture techniques, tui na massage, and the ancient art of Chinese herbalism. John loves working with patients who have not had a chance to experience acupuncture. He would love everyone to see how great it feels to receive acupuncture and experience true wellness with all that Chinese Medicine has to offer. He has experience working with a variety of complaints, including various pain syndromes, diabetes, women's health, digestive disorders, fertility, neuropathy, addiction, HIV/AIDS, and cancer. I provide deep tissue massage, craniosacral therapy, fascial release, injury treatment, pregnancy massage, neuromuscular therapy, and Reiki. In my practice I support client education, and work with people in achieving a greater understanding of their bodies, their minds, and their sense of wellness. My clients take an active part in their own healing, rehabilitation, and relationship with their body. The body’s natural state is one of rhythm and movement, and when that movement slows or stops, stasis occurs. When stasis occurs “dis-ease”, pain, and dysfunction can manifest. My work aims to uncover the inherent health and innate knowledge that organizes these areas, thus restoring the body to it’s natural state of fluid movement and ease.
